The MABA Expo has been around since 1997 giving area businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and/or services to the residents of the greater Lansing area. The Expo is held in March at the Haslett High School and each year attracts about 5000 visitors from 10:00am to 3:00pm who eagerly attend to see the 150 participating exhibitors. For more information, visit the MABA website.
KI Technology Group has been an exhibitor at the MABA Expo for the past several years and we are looking forward to the 2010 Expo. Stop by our booth and say hello!
The Lansing Area MDA Lockup 2010 is on March 24. Sometime that day, a law enforcement officer will be showing up in my office to haul me off to jail. Your donation will shorten my stay and help the Muscular Dystrophy Association help area families cope with muscular dystrophy.

GiveCamp is a weekend-long event where software developers, designers, and database administrators donate their time to create custom software for non-profit organizations. This custom software could be a new website for the nonprofit organization, a small data-collection application to keep track of members, or a application for the Red Cross that automatically emails a blood donor three months after they’ve donated blood to remind them that they are now eligible to donate again. The only limitation is that the project should be scoped to be able to be completed in a weekend.
Impression 5 Science Center has donated its facility to host this year's event which will take place from March 26 - March 28th. KI Technology Group will be assisting by training non-profit representatives to be able to maintain their websites and providing support for the developers.
If you aren't a developer, you can still get involved by helping to feed the developers and non-profit representatives. Some of them will arrive on Friday and will not leave until after the event ends on Sunday. If you work with a non-profit organization or if you know some developers, you can also help by encouraging them to get involved.
